Marble Mountain- Champa Museum- Son Tra Peninsula

  • Cham Museum: the Museum’s first building was opened in 1919, but many Cham sculptures collected in Da Nang, Quang Nam and elsewhere were brought to the site over the preceding twenty years. found by the French in 1915, Cham museum is the only one of its kind in the Southeast Asia dedicated to preserving the unique Champa sculptural heritage. They are vivid proof of confirming the history of a nationality living within the Vietnamese community boasting of a rich cultural tradition.
  • Marble Mountains (Five Elements Mountains) is a cluster of five hills located on the way to Hoi An. The five marble hills or “mountains” are named after the five elements (Ngũ Hành) of the ancient oriental philosophy.
  • Son Tra Peninsula is 10km from the center of Da Nang Cityto the North-east and is 693m high above sea level. Son Tra Mountain can be seen from every places of the city. Son Tra looks like a mushroom of which cap is Son Tra Mountain and stalk is a beautiful sandy beachthat affords an ideal area for bathing, playing sports, fishing and swimming.

08:00 Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Marble Mountain.

08:30 Climb up the most beautiful peak to discover beautiful caves and visit old national pagodas. Visitors will be attracted strongly by many caves, statues and temples in the mountain of Water. Climbing 157 stone steps to reach the top, visitors will be greeted by the breathtaking panorama of Non Nuoc beach. Drop in the very famous traditional carving village to see skillful marble products by talented artists.

10:00 Transfer to visit Champa Museum – the most special collection of Champa sculptures in the central Vietnam.Photo stop at Dragon Bridge.

11:00 Experience local market in Da Nang city at Han Market. Han Market is the place where visitors will have a chance to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people and there’re a lot of things to show your family, friends when you are back home.

12:00 Transfer to restaurant in Da Nang city center for lunch

13:00 Transfer to Son Tra Peninsula to visit Linh Ung Pagoda, locating the highest Female Buddha Statue in Viet Nam and enjoy sightseeing from hundreds of meter height.

14:30 Transfer back tothe hotel. End program.

Ba Na Hills

Located in the Truong Son mountain range 25 km at an altitude of 1487m, its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the city of Da Nang’s awe-inspiring bay and the Lao mountain range made Bà Nà a past popular place to retreat for the French long ago. Ba Na Hills – the double Guinness World record breaking cable car, honoured as both the longest and highest non-stop system in operation. The 5,042m high cable car ride takes about 20 minutes, reaching a vertical rise of about 1,500m above sea level. However you will experience the cable car ride up to the hills. Upon arrival you will visit to the Ba Na Hills Fantasy Park – an indoor entertainment complex.  

08:00 Pick up guest at the hotel, depart to Ba Na hills

09:00 Arrive at the cable car station. Sitting in the cabin, in mid air, looking upon the endless trees of the forest, bring you with spectacular views of the lush jungle and Fairy Water along the way. Experiencing the pristine ecological system of the Ba Na mountain will leave you a sense of unforeseeable discovery.

09:30 Visit the Le Jardin, old wineries remains of French Villas and Linh Ung pagoda with 27m high Buddha statue. Leave Le Jardin for the second cable car station to visit the top of mountain. Conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height og 1,487m

12:00 Have lunch at restaurant.

13:00-14:30 Visit and play game at the Fantasy Park- Ba Na Hills Fantasy Park- the third largest indoor amusement park in the world.

14:30 Return to cable car station at the foot of Ba Na mountain. Back to Da Nang.

15:00 Drop off at your hotel.


Hoi An

Marble Mountain – Hoi An Ancient Town

  • Marble Mountains (Five elements mountains) is a cluster of five hills located are 9km south of Da Nang, on the way to Hoi An. The five marble hills or “mountains” are named after the five elements (Ngũ Hành) of the ancient oriental philosophy. There are a number of caves, grottos and Buddhist temples on the mountains with nice natural entrances and tunnels. The temples make the area a popular pilgrimage site. The Marble Mountains are also famous for their traditional stonemasonry activities.

 

  • Hoi An Ancient Town is truly the most charming place to stop in central Vietnam. The preservation of 18th century architecture and way of life in the old town continues to lure wide eyed visitors. Once you arrive in Hoi An, you will wish you had planned to stay longer. It’s a place that tugs on your sense of peace. It’s safe and easy to explore. December in 1999, Hoi An Ancient Town was officially listed as a World Heritage Site.

08:00         Pick-up the guests at the hotel. Transfer to the Marble Mountains

08:15         Visit the carvings-stone village, where the local skillful sculptors create many marble products which are exported to many countries worldwide

08:45         Climb up to visit the Marble Mountains by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic view of the nearby countryside, and visit Huyen Khong cave.

09:45         Depart to Hoi An

11:00         Have lunch at a local restaurant

12:30         Walk through the narrow street to visit the old merchant’s houses; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation to visit art galleries or tailor shops to see the colorful scene of silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two.

15:30         Transfer back to your hotel in Da Nang. Tour ends.

Lantern Making–Tra Que Herb Village– Cam Thanh Fishing

Experience the traditional handicrafts and enjoy the real daily life of Hoi An local people.

  • Lantern making: One of the greatest pleasure of any visitor to Hoi An is strolling along the beautiful streets of the old town at night under the flickering lights of the many beautiful lanterns. These colorful lanterns are not only the symbol of Hoi An old town but also a part of the spirit of the Hoi An. We would like to offer you a tour to a traditional Hoi An handicraft village to make the lanterns.
  • Tra Que herb village: Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the every day meals of the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao Lau, Quang noodles, enjoy cooking class served by host with the local ‘Tam Huu’ spring roll which were primarily made from Tra Que vegetables and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened.
  • Cam Thanh fishing village: Cam Thanh village is about 4ha, during the Vietnam’s war this was the shelter for local people and soldiers and nowadays this place is famous for providing the most seafood products for this area. Joining this tour you will have a chance to learn some traditional fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war. On this tour, we provide an authentic social and cultural insight into the Vietnamese local way of life. As well you will take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe and interesting to people of all ages.

08:00 Local guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby and you will take a bicycle to lantern making workshop in the village. Here you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns. Choose your favorite sample of lantern. Do step by step with the craftsman how to make one lantern. Keep this lantern for souvenir.

09:00 Continue to ride bicycle in 30 minutes to Tra Que herb village. Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the history of the village. Then join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables… Enjoy foot soak before getting to preparing lunch with a local family. Join cooking with ‘Banh xeo’- a local pancake of people in Viet Nam middle region.

Continue riding bicycle along De Vong River to Cam Andock (nearly Victoria hotel) Take a boat to Cua Daiestuary, enjoy casting net show and learn how to cast nets by local fishermen. Then to Cam Thanh Water coconut village, have a brief introduce to the history there. Take on the basket boat (02 paxs/ boat) along the water coconut river. Fishermen will teach you how to catch the crabs, learn how to make funny tools by the water. Divide group into small teams for basket boat racing The winner will get a lovely gift, then visit a craftman’s house in the village.

My Son Holy Land 

Mỹ Sơn – a unique beautiful sanctuary world of the ancient Chăm religion, is day by day attracting thousands of tourists elsewhere.Whilst not as spectacular as the great Angkor complexes in Cambodia, the remaining structures are atmospheric enough to conjure images of the majesty of the Champa Kingdom.It is one of the foremost Hindu temple sites in South East Asia. For the Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the 2nd to the 13th century, My Son was an important religious site and place of worship..This site is a Must-See for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam.

08:00 Pick up at the hotel. Transfer to My Son Holy Land

09:15 Arrive at My Son forest. Walk around the complex of 20 monuments still standing today in a verdant valley surrounded by mountains and overlooked by the impressive Cat Tooth Mountain in order to learn about Cham culture, architecture and civilization. Enjoy Champa musical performance.

Hue City Tour From Da Nang

07:30 Pick up at the hotel, then transfer to Hue city via Hai Van Tunnel – the longest tunnel in Southeast Asia at 6.28km. Photo stops at Lang Co Beach.

10:30 Visit one famous tomb of Tu Duc among the most beautiful royal toms of Nguyen Kings. Its architecture and atmosphere showcase elements of eastern art and western designs.

11:40 Transfer to restaurant in Hue city center for lunch.

12:30 Move to visit the Imperial Citadel built by Nguyen dynasty – the last dynasty of Vietnamese feudalism.

15:00 Transfer to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Dong Ba Market
